  • Through a wine route of the Cyprus Ministry of tourism we are at the Zambartas Winery. Although we had not reserved for a tour (might be recommended), we were warmly welcomed by the Dutch Marleen and we got a tour of the modern company. September is harvest season for wine in Cyprus, so there was plenty to see. After the tour we started directly to the extensive tasting. The wine tastes fine and is made of an interesting mix of international and local grapes. We have taken two bottles for a reasonable price. The next time we take an extra suitcase!
