  • This monastery is simple – there are many more beautiful on the island, but it is worth the visit. The small chapel is beautiful. A patio in the shade, there are benches where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Plus, this is for lovers of cats, there is not a lot, but we feel that they are at peace in this place which is dedicated to them.

  • Many years ago, we went to this monastery and he left me with a pleasant memory, and as the lover of cats including. Now is the time to show him and my children ... We came in Saturday not too early in the morning. The place is quiet and peaceful. One of the nuns sat at the Church (as it turned out later, it "manages" and a small hardware shop), the second came out of the Church and went to the territory, where the visitors entrance No. We expect to see a lot of cats, but in fact hardly counted six. In this case, for one, is near the Church, it was painful to watch: an apparent respiratory infection, eyes and nose flies on one of her breasts-tumor ... The status of the remaining cats see failed, maybe for the better. In General, for the sake of the monastery, you go here don't recommend it unless you are a religious person and want to visit the local church. That's all you will see large part because the monastery is closed to visitors. As part of the trip in kolossi-easily.
