Omodos Village, Limassol
(4.6/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Located in the center of Limassol's wine villages, Omodos Village features cobblestone paths, traditional tavernas and bars, and quaint local shops located inside traditional buildings. Nestled among mountain tops 810 m (2,660 ft) above sea level, the village enjoys a temperate climate, offering a nice escape from the well-known Cyprus heat. Take a walk along the hills and through Mediterranean alleys of this wine center. You'll discover small squares and have the opportunity to sample local wines and buy exotic delicacies. The site is believed to date back to the Byzantine era.
