Historic Site Tourist Spot
Located in the center of Limassol's wine villages, Omodos Village features cobblestone paths, traditional tavernas and bars, and quaint local shops located inside traditional buildings. Nestled among mountain tops 810 m (2,660 ft) above sea level, the village enjoys a temperate climate, offering a nice escape from the well-known Cyprus heat. Take a walk along the hills and through Mediterranean alleys of this wine center. You'll discover small squares and have the opportunity to sample local wines and buy exotic delicacies. The site is believed to date back to the Byzantine era. • In July the year 2017 during your vacation on the family traveled on Cyprus. We stopped for lunch in the family Tavern Omodos on the outskirts of the village of Omodos. Cyprus ordered the meat Meze. Brought 5 salads, 6 kinds of meat, sauces, traditional Cypriot gave a wonderful rustic red wine. All the dishes were amazing!

  • It is a traditional village, with narrow streets. Famous for the Church of the Holy Cross, where he kept track of the Cross of Christ. For food there are taverns with superb Cypriot food. A visit will compensate you!!!
