Finikoudes Beach, Larnaka City

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
3.8/5 based on 950+ reviews on the web
Lined with palm trees, the wide Finikoudes Beach stretches along the main tourist promenade of the city. Rent a beach chair or spread your towel across the warm, soft sand and take in the open Mediterranean views at this widely popular, yet tranquil beach. You can try numerous water sports here and restaurants, bars, and cafes abound. Due to the beach's low incline, the shallow waters are suitable for children and non-swimmers. If you are an experienced diver, you can also view the world-famous Zenobia shipwreck at 42 m (138 ft) below the water's surface. Before you head to Larnaka City, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Larnaka City family vacation planner, to make sure you see all that Larnaka City has to offer, including Finikoudes Beach.

  • The beach is very long and ranges from the Marina to the suburb of Mackenzie. The fine sand is rather hard and thus not blown by the wind. In some places, can go about 50 meters into the water and has the water just below the knee. The beach bars make your stay really relaxing with their pleasant chillout music. Behind the beach is equal to the promenade-mile with a wide variety of restaurants and bars/cafes.
