  • The Karpaz region is different from the rest of Cyprus, because of a more natural vegetation. Very beautiful beaches.

  • Dear globe trotters, Hello. The Karpas peninsula is the name of the great band of mountainous land in the top right Chypre.Elle is little inhabited and road improvements are recent, although poor quality. Great wild and rocky coast to the North and alternating beaches for turtles and rocky coasts in the South. The extreme point, East, a protected national park filled with donkeys so wild that step because they block you authority your vehicle in the hope of a treat. In this Wilderness Park, is the monastery of saint Andrew, the half brother of Jesus, one of the 12 Apostles. He would have lived and died here. A few icons to see, the monastery is freshly renovated and backgrounds are not yet made, but this is ongoing. Merchants of the monastery, not the temple, although in a row trying to sell you to the supposed local goods during your trip to see and drink from the source called miraculous saint André in the rocks near a rough sea. Yet pressed to taste grenades, they have not yet understood what tourists, but it will come. Continue the road to the restaurant panoramic sea bird or you can eat well without pretension. You can rent bungalows on the edge of a small Bay in the crystal clear water and emerald. Quiet, beauty and scenery. Tel: 0533-863-2687 if you speak Turkish or English. The rest of the peninsula is conducive to the unmarked free hikes and unexpected encounters and improbable own wilds and rural. Kind regards.
