Sea Caves, Ayia Napa

Categories: Lookouts, Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.6/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web
View Sea Caves, a stretch of dramatic natural formations that can be seen and photographed from the shore and accessed from the sea. Although most caves require some climbing or cliff jumping in order to be explored, the views from above offer an ever-changing site of lights and colors--thanks to a rocky sea bottom, waters that are almost always clear, and diverse marine life. Some caves extend for up to 80 m (260 ft) deep into the rocks. Depending on the tide, they can be accessed by walking or swimming. • Very beautiful place in Ayia Napa is sandy grottoes and caves formed by the nature itself. Strange shapes, which are obtained through the intervention of wind, Sun and water. The sea in these places is different with different colors of the Rainbow from blue to Emerald hue that cannot leave the sophisticated traveler. Once in these places hidden treasures of pirates, and in the recent past, filming "Pirates of the Caribbean". Now this place is chosen by divers. To get to this fabulous and mysterious place possible on the local bus (2 EUR), but unusual places you can see a ride on the boat. And sports fans will not be difficult to ride there bike. But I warn you, there's no trees, places of blagoustrojstv, so we need to prepare for independent travel in advance and carefully so as not to scorch and get a lot of pleasure.

  • Best photographed or recorded from a boat on the outward journey from Ayia Napa up towards Fanagusta.
  • A short distance from Cape Greco, very beautiful natural site. Nice pictures to do, clear, blue water jagged white rocks. Many photos of weddings are made here ;) The only negative: the butts of cigarettes and the beer cans everywhere despite the presence of garbage! People are really dirty! Incomprehensible in a place as beautiful as this one...
