Nature / Park
Hike through Cape Greco National Forest Park, which features juniper-filled flatlands, copious sea caves, and a section of the European Long Distance Trail E4, which runs from Gibraltar. Spread across 385 hectares (950 acres) of rocky terrain, this park has 16 km (10 mi) of nature paths and extensive networks of cycling and horseback riding trails. There's a small church on site as well as a spot from which holy water runs, according to legend. Don't miss the sea caves, lined along the edges of cliffs, which reach up to 40 m (130 ft) in height. Take plenty of water with you. To visit Cape Greco National Forest Park on your holiday in Ayia Napa, and find out what else Ayia Napa has to offer, use our Ayia Napa itinerary planner.

  • we took two walking routes, both stunningly beautiful. turquoise water, wild flowers in bloom, rugged shores. the stuff that mythologies are made from.  more »
  • Walk back takes about 2-2.5 (from the port of agia napa) and the same time. You can return the touri bus if you want to. Some beach walking, smaller brick path, but also over boulders and rocks and without any signage. I once saw an arrow and hand-written PATH was, but it was far and wide to see, so you had to orient yourself to feel no PATH a shield. But it was a nice tour with steep cliffs and coves. The CAP was somehow disappointing. But the way is the objective.

  • So lovely place to observe. Perfect view from one of highest points on East coast of Cyprus. There are some places to sit and enjoy it. We were there on August and mostly all the flora are burned by sun, but it still so worth to see. It's a bit far from bus stop and you will be needed to go up so it will be reasonable to rent a car or bike. Overall distance from bus stop about 3 km. Should be stunning beautiful on sunset.
  • Nice place with the beautiful Cannos beach and a lot of small caves. It's not a forest actually - mostly here are you'll find small juniper trees, few kinds of bushes and eucalyptus, also you can meet Aleppo Pines.
  • Nice, quiet place at early morning hours... birds singing, a few folk with their fishing rods patiently waiting. View point on the higher hill is a good place to view the area. Don't miss the cave under the little blue church, and definitely visit the cave-like cliffs by the southeastern side. You can locate them from the higher view point too.
  • Great spot for a picnic if you go just before sunset. The road up there is quite bumpy and stony and I wouldnt advise it on a rainy day or when rains had just fallen. The sea caves are nearby as well which together make for a great few hours.
  • We traveled around park at day and really enjoyed all places, especially the top- stunning views from viewpoint. Great photo opportinties! Everything is free.
