  • Compulsory for visiting place for all who are interested in the nature of Cyprus. The middle of the Canyon is very narrow, with high cliffs and river in the middle. So big company better not go. Prepare tracking shoes, and then you can enjoy Avakasom.

  • Nothing to brag about. a good walk not suitable for people not very mobile. The first part is flat and wet, after the route becomes impassable but without any special amenities.

  • Fantastic days walk up the gorge and out the other side, turned right and back down one of the many tracks which bought us to the 'last castle' for lunch.
  • nice ... note, please don't leve garbage everywhere...respect natura
  • Super trip. Dont miss it and have a good shoes to finish several kilometres through rocks and caves. Meter after meter you will experience stunning views, high cliffs and oases with beautiful plants. Dont miss it! Good sport.
  • Excellent trek. Kept me cool. Wasn't certain when the end of the trip was. The best part was trying to get past the dripping water - I had to put my camera in my rucksack, for safekeeping. Seen some mountain goats on the way back down.
  • Beautiful gorge! You can clamber all the way through it in about 2.5 hours, just make sure you have a map to find your way back, take plenty of water, wear sturdy walking boots and don't give up!
