  • Scharloo was once probably a beautiful district, there are still many absolutely beautiful buildings to find and it is also worth to drive through this district. What a great pity is that your night here absolutely careful because it is really not safe. Many close timbered buildings and many wanderers. Really SIN

  • We have made a ride on the mini Metro by Willemstad and come also through the District of Scharloo with the Scharlooweg. Here, we in addition to some ailing, could admire many beautifully restored manor houses, which were built in the 19th century by Jewish merchants. The Jewish community at the time loved popular classicism with elaborate details and brilliant colors. An example is the green "wedding cake House," in which today is the national archives. The building at the time was the wedding gift of a wealthy merchant. It is worth to walk is definitely alone along this road and the historic buildings on gay.
