Jan Thiel Beach, Willemstad
Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Swim, rest, and play at Jan Thiel Beach, a beach particularly popular with families. Located in an upscale residential area, the beach has an open feel, lining the shore of a wide bay. An area of water close to the shore has been partially enclosed to make a wading area and swimming pool suitable for young children. Head out to explore what lies beneath on a diving or snorkeling excursion, before resting up under the shade of a palm tree, munching on snacks bought at the onsite restaurant. There are beds to lie on. Little shade places. You can buy some drinks at the restaurants. We think it is a cosy beach. With 5 people we paid 30 Golden entrance, including cots. Cons: relatively small beach, it is getting crowded.show original
