Inspirock Rating:
3.8/5 based on 170 reviews on the web
On the top of a hill 68 m (223 ft) high overlooking Schottegat bay sits Fort Nassau. The military committee built the original fort in 1787 to protect the town of Willemstad. The fort features premium panoramic views of the city and also features a tropical garden where you can relax among the plant life. Inside, the fort operates a well renowned restaurant called 'Fort Nassau'. They serve a variety of international dishes with a Caribbean touch, such as a creamy mustard soup, caramelised salmon and a vast array of meat and seafood dishes. • You have a nice view of the schottegat and the harbor of Curacao from Fort Nasau. And especially in the evening a magnificent view if you see all the lights of the island.

  • Delightful location for a walk this afternoon in the island. Must be part of the roadmap of the locations to be visited in Curaçao.

  • We took the Willemstad by NIghts tour and they took us to the roof top of Fort Nassau. Great panoramic of Willemstad at night.
  • Unbeatable views, service is a little slow but it's the island life. Updated menu now excellent, snails and fish medley were fresh and memorable.
  • The pork was very dry, the remaining food was mediocre and the service was substandard bordering on poor. For the prices here I expect MUCH more. The view is great but you can't just live on your view. I won't return.
  • Absolutely great place to be! Amazing view over Willemstad! It's worth to make a walk to this place.
  • Very good food at a great location. The service is also splendid.
  • Good food. Great view and lovely experience.
