Historic Site
On the top of a hill 68 m (223 ft) high overlooking Schottegat bay sits Fort Nassau. The military committee built the original fort in 1787 to protect the town of Willemstad. The fort features premium panoramic views of the city and also features a tropical garden where you can relax among the plant life. Inside, the fort operates a well renowned restaurant called 'Fort Nassau'. They serve a variety of international dishes with a Caribbean touch, such as a creamy mustard soup, caramelised salmon and a vast array of meat and seafood dishes. • It's a nice place to have a nice view over Willemstad. You see, on the one hand, the port and other hand Willemstad. The fort is well preserved!

  • Fun look at this point. Both in the port as to the bridge. Not eaten here. Not very special

  • Concorridissimo restaurant on site. Don't go without reservation even in day of the week. Highlight the view as to be located at the top of a hill where formerly ran a strong, your table displays all region of main channel of the city where the big question. Correct, reasonable food and a wine list. We take a sirah Australian and the wine came to room temperature (28 degrees). We appeal for a bucket of ice.

  • Unbeatable views, service is a little slow but it's the island life. Updated menu now excellent, snails and fish medley were fresh and memorable.
  • The pork was very dry, the remaining food was mediocre and the service was substandard bordering on poor. For the prices here I expect MUCH more. The view is great but you can't just live on your view. I won't return.
  • Absolutely great place to be! Amazing view over Willemstad! It's worth to make a walk to this place.
  • Very good food at a great location. The service is also splendid.
  • Good food. Great view and lovely experience.
