Go behind the scenes to see the making of the island's most famous export at Curacao Liqueur Distillery. Distilled onsite since 1896, the liqueur with an iconic deep-blue color was invented, as many great things are, by chance. A local, experimenting with the rinds of the native citrus fruit called Laraha, came up with the drink that would become synonymous with the island country. Take a tour of the facility and learn the history and production process of the liqueur, then treat yourself to a sampling at the onsite bar. A visit to Curacao Liqueur Distillery represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Curacao vacation trip planner to plot your vacation.

The liquor was good so we bought some; the price is not more economical at the distillery since elsewhere had it almost at the same price.
