Playa Kalki, Curacao
(3.6/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
A small cove known for its limestone cliffs, Playa Kalki offers a serene little spot from which to unwind, snorkel and dive. Half way down the smooth powder sands you'll find a dive shop and cafe, so grab a bite to eat or rent some scuba gear. If you're a diving enthusiast, find the airplane wreckage and head out to explore. Rent a sun lounger, and remember to wear swim shoes if you go swimming- the sea bed is a little rocky. • Very beautiful beach. Can be reached even by public bus, running in Westpunt, right from the stop walk storming 15 minutes. The water is clear, set into the water but not very convenient-a fairly sharp rocks. There is a small Pier from where divers will start, and another with a very cool jump into the water. Immediately quite deeply. The beach itself is free, it has paid. There is also a restaurant and a dive center.

  • Nice place to snorkel with a variety of fish and corals. We can eat at the bar restaurant (salads or hamburgers). The site is very nice, but the beach is tiny, narrow, with little sand, this while remaining nice. The shaded seats are so expensive. Nearby parking. Diving to the left (untested) site.

  • It was the first beach we visited in Curacao. We went on a Monday morning so it was pretty empty. We think she's beautiful, and great to snorkel! It is a public beach and don't need to pay fee to enter, and has a few chairs for rent.
