Varadero Golf Club, Varadero
Categories: Golf Courses, Outdoor Activities
The only golf course in Cuba that survived the 1959 revolution, Varadero Golf Club was built as the first 18-hole course in the country. Designed by renowned Canadian architect Les Furber, it was the setting for a golf game between Fidel Castro and Che Guevara in 1959. You'll find scenic ocean views while playing on the well-maintained beachfront course that features palm trees, challenging holes, and wide open spaces. I had proposed to me personally a little less Cuban standards, but nothing is less true, excellent practice facilities, recent clubs, well maintained buggy. The job itself is challenging, the greens a serious adjustment and the wind is a determining factor. As golfer visit Cuba and this job not play is a missed opportunity.show original
