Josone Park, Varadero
(4.1/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
The 9 hectare (22 acre) Josone Park represents one of the most popular places in the city, attracting half a million people annually. The lake provides a backdrop for colorful birds and tropical plants, and you can hire pedal boats to explore it. The park also features a swimming pool, miniature golf, and a playground, plus lots of spots to find a bit of shade and watch the world go by. A few bars and restaurants on the outskirts provide a place in which to escape the heat and refuel. Sometimes live bands perform here. • Lots of great things to see and do in the park. It was clean and enjoyable. I loved walking through it and it was very close to resort.

  • It's definitely one of the best public park I've ever visited. There is large amount of amenities such as restaurants, boat hire services or small cafés. It's worth a visit. Especially, if you can use the Hop On/Off bus from the hotel resorts in Varadero.
  • A quiet oasis in the middle of the tourist zone. Small lagoon, paths and various eating / drinking establishments. Enter from Avenida 1ra or the Autopista, other gates are often locked.
  • Ok
  • A very quaint park. I have been to Varadero now 5 times but did not know about this park. Inside you can rent row boats or paddle boats and explore a rather large winding pond.
  • Must see with a good pina colada
