  • Ancient stairs in Santiago de Cuba, near the Museum of the clandestine fight. If you have interest in climbing stairs is good visit, if not not nothing is lost. If anything the "views" from the top towards the calle Padre Pico

  • Padre Pico stairs of inaugurated in 1903, being Mayor Emilio Bacardí. Give access to the picturesque neighborhood of Tivoli, created at the beginning of century XIX housing French settlers and their slaves of Sainte-Domingue (act. Haiti), fled the revolution slave that erupted there in 1791. Today the neighborhood is very damaged, but from some of its corners dealt with the best views of Santiago de Cuba Bay.

  • An old staircase on which train a few afrocubains, paints a little dated by the Sun, a flamboyant in bloom, and an old chevrolet at the feet of the markets... voila upstairs Padre Pico. Not far from Parque Cespedes, well worth a detour (more beautiful seen from downstairs).
