  • Close (5 minutes) from Céspedes Park is the Plaza de Dolores square. During the day which meet here Cubans play dominoes and listening to the organ player, in the evening can be eat out or end the day with a cocktail in the many Cafés and restaurants. There are many trees around the place, so that you can find also a shady spot. Unfortunately, we also invited more often in bars ("best bar/restaurant") or should drive taxi. If you ignored it or says "No, Gracias", it stops but also quickly again. But a place like many others...

  • A pleasant square with plenty of seats. Live music on a Saturday afternoon. Just down the hill is a small square where tables of men play dominos  more »
  • When I travel, I like to meet locals and chat with them about life. Not for me are the museums with weird lighting and everything under glass! So Plaza de Dolores was a perfect spot to go sit and chat...  more »
