Make your way to Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption to witness the 16th Century architecture that stands tall over Satiago de Cuba's central square. Erected in 1518, the cathedral features two tall bell towers flanking each side of the holy structure. Before you head in, take a look between the two towers to find an imposing statue of Michael the Archangel. Wander inside to find a tall central nave with wooden pews leading all the way down to a central altar. Arches and columns hold up the structure and stretch all the way up to a light blue and white dome shaped ceiling. Climb up one of the towers to enjoy views over the city.
