History and theater buffs won't want to miss Teatro La Caridad, a colonial provincial theater built in the late 19th century. Though it boasts an attractive, ornately carved neoclassical exterior, the building really comes into its own once you step inside. Head to the interior to see the semicircular auditorium's three gilded tiers and intricate marble statues. Look up to admire the opulent painted ceiling by prominent artist Camilo Zalaya. • It really is a gorgeous theater. Place in the main square, the Council to reserve 20 minutes to visit us, absolutely! The cost of entry is 1 Cuc and worth it! A guide will give you information about the history and topicality of what is done inside the theater as spettacoli...si can go upstairs, observe the details, great! The lady who served as Guide (I was alone inside to check them out, then I could enjoy a personalized guide at no extra charge) I revealed that the largest number of tourists entering the theater are Italy and France, those more interested and more used (according to the Lady) to the history and culture. I recommend it to everyone.

  • The Theather of our city Santa Clara
  • Is a gem kept in time I hope someday I could see it with my own eyes
  • Hard to tell from the appearance, but is a very nice theater. Also admission to the 3-storey and seats made of a beautiful curve. I think I should go, if you come to the Santa Clara location.
