  • This is a must see site for anyone travelling Cuba and trying to understand the history of the Revolution. Che and Fidels desire to support oppressed people around world is an important part of the of the legacy of the Cuban revolution. The small museum honoring Ches fallen fellow fighters from the ill-fated Bolivia campaign is a very touching part of whole monument. Shows the strong desire to honor all the individuals who have fought on the peoples side that can be traced throughout museums of the revolution across the country.
  • The Che Guevara Mausoleum is a memorial in Santa Clara, Cuba. It houses the remains of revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara and twenty-nine of his fellow combatants killed in 1967 during Guevara's attempt to spur an armed uprising in Bolivia. The full area which contains a bronze 22-foot statue of Guevara is referred to as the Ernesto Guevara Sculptural Complex. Guevara was buried with full military honors on 17 October 1997 after his exhumed remains were discovered in Bolivia and returned to Cuba. At the site, there is a museum dedicated to Guevara's life and an eternal flame lit by Fidel Castro in his memory. Santa Clara was chosen as the location in remembrance of Guevara's troops taking the city on December 31, 1958, during the Battle of Santa Clara. The result of this final battle of the Cuban Revolution was Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista fleeing into exile.
  • It is a important place to visit. It is beautiful and good for pictures. The statue is giant and the square is very large. We're not allowed to bring cameras or take pictures inside the museum. Inside the museus you gonna see objects that were used by Che during his life.
  • Very modern adn well done memorial to El Che, 100% worth visit. Completely free it follows the life of the great revolutionary
  • It is well put together, but not a lot to see. I do enjoy the art in it all though especially.
