  • 18 km from the town of Viñales is the cave system that is considered the largest of cuba and one of the largest in Latin America: the great cavern of Santo Tomás. This cavity has over 46 km of overlapped Gallery one to another on 8 levels and is recognized as a national monument. This option is ideal for lovers of Speleology. This system was investigated and given to know by the outstanding scientific Cuban Antonio Nuñez Jimenez at an of their expeditions in the year 1954.
