Cayo Jutias, Minas de Matahambre

(260 reviews on the web)
Relax on the pristine beaches of Cayo Jutias, a 7 km (4.3 mi) stretch of untouched white sand, clear azure waters, and lush mangrove forest. More tranquil and less crowded than other spots in the region, the beach affords peace and quiet. In spite of a lack of facilities, the seafood restaurant along the waterfront should have you covered if hunger strikes. A dive center and other boat tours operate nearby for those who want some adventure. • The place is incredible, access is not the best route is in very poor condition, there is possibility to sleep in Santa lucia and be closer to the beach although I prefer to sleep in Viñales and travel the 60km, takes about 1 hour to get from Viñales. There is a restaurant and a couple of bars on the beach, all serve meals and drinks, and if you walk, overlooking the sea, to the right there are a few old cars parked and there sold lobsters at a lower price, if you walk to the left side, always overlooking the sea, is can go along the beach but inside, not on the water and you can reach beaches more away , there there is nothing to buy. In short, this beach is the best in Cuba.

  • We can say that it is not among the easiest to reach. in Cuba but worth the white beach and sea of many colors and especially not yet colonized by multinationals of tourism as I said it is not easy to get there there are taxis or private and some tourist buses that depart from Vinales in the morning and it takes an hour and a half because although it is about 70 km the road is very rough and full of holes on the beach there is a restaurant and a few sunbeds

  • Areas very Virgin of Cuba and with wonderful nature, almost a natural park and has all the charms and discomfort also in a deserted area, visit it private catamaran and can not get grounded by orders of border guards, but looks amazing from the sea
