Pharmaceutical Museum represents the world's only late 19th-century French apothecary, which still houses original furniture and items. Step inside to gain insight into what Cuban pharmacies offered citizens about a hundred years ago. Find original items such as bottles, utensils, books, and instruments displayed on wooden shelves that reach the ceiling. The pharmacy was built in 1882 and reopened as a museum in 1964. Its construction is a prime example of domestic Neoclassical architecture. Two floors as well as a makeshift third floor in the attic surround a central courtyard.
