  • Beautiful water, clean and quiet. Had no intention of visiting the beaches but the taxi driver insisted and it was a good call.  more »
  • This beach is breathtaking to say the least. It is easily accessible from the T3 bus in Parque Central for 5-6 CUC round trip. Get off at the last stop, but go to the bus stop by 3PM or it may be...  more »
  • For 1 peso we caught the local bus from the old town near the ferry terminal to the gorgeous beach. You can relax on sun loungers for 3CUC each and be served fresh fish from a local resturaunt. The...  more »
  • Beautiful beach and lovely water. Was there in a half holiday half training session. Loved the nights on the beach. Nice quietness about the place over the winter season.
  • I would give this beach 5 starts because the sand and water are amazing. Except the guy that rents masks and snorkels was not there 2 days in a row. On the beach they sold some food. But everything was sold out except for the fish platters. I didn't mind, the fish was good.
  • Great beach half an hour from the Paseo del Prado by bus.
  • Really enjoyed this beautiful beach near Havana. You can take a modern, air-conditioned bus from Central Park in Havana for 5CUC RETURN! There’s a great little restaurant at the first beach stop (before you get to all the resorts), where you can get a nice breakfast and delicious coffee. The beach is a 30 sec walk away. As soon as you step on the beach, someone offers you beach chairs for 6/7CUC for the day and you can have drinks and food brought right to you for a reasonable price. We were there in late Dec. and the temp was mid-high 20s and the water VERY pleasant for swimming (at least for us Canadians)! Don’t worry, many others were swimming too, although, from what I understand, Cubans prefer to swim between May and September.
  • Nice and relatively clean beach, though I missed a shower
