The Museum of Decorative Arts, at 17th and E streets in the Vedado district of Havana, Cuba is a decorative arts museum in the former residence of the María Luisa Gómez-Mena viuda de Cagiga, Countess of Revilla de Camargo, sister of José Gómez-Mena Vila, the owner of the Manzana de Gómez. It was designed in Paris by architects P. Virad and M. Destuque, inspired in French Renaissance and was built between 1924 and 1927 in a neo-classical style.

  • One of the most important museums of the Cuban capital, contains ornaments, furniture and pieces of the Camargo family and the Gomez Mena. At the entrance of the House there is a star of David, I asked the Guide and other workers and nobody could give me an explanation that Hebrew symbol embedded in the floor of one of the most Catholic families who had been in Cuba before the revolution. The House must make some tweaks and some maintenance work.

  • One of the museums with more history in Cuba about paintings, eleven sculptures and much more. Visit it and discover its richness is incomparable. At the front of this living my uncles godparents on the street 17
