Ernest Hemingway Marina represents Cuba's largest marina and the site where Ernest Hemingway kept his marlin fishing boat. The official capacity of the dock is 400 vessels. Head to the surrounding village, where Hemimgway would hang out, and get a feel for Cuba's history as you stroll through its streets characterized by old houses.   • The marina and hotel are quaint and have all of the basic features one would require for a stay. The hotel pool was beautiful and had a range of night time entertainment. The marina docks were in need...  read more »
  • We have done this trip when we still had no kids (1992). We were the 2nd Martinair device from NL that flew in Cuba (the 1st flight was for tour guides and buro ´ s etc) The trip and tour of 1 week were TOP. Even now we still speak about in 2016. Then we went with a Gryhound bus from bottom to top and in Old Havana we went with a domestic flight back down again and then our holiday on the white sand. Our cottage stood on top of a dune and we could direct the beach s ´ morning. During the tour was Bay of Pig really a must

  • I went by taxi. Hemingway's small fishing villages in the countryside quiet just aren't interested. People were scattered. The tourist destination of rather good.
