Central Park, Havana

(300+ reviews on the web)
Nature / Park
The beating heart of the city of Havana, Central Park bustles with sounds, sights, and smells. Perfect for a spot of people-watching, this small patch of greenery provides a series of stone benches, fountains, and sculptures to break up the hubbub of the busy streets, bus terminal, and buildings that surround. At the center of the park a sculpture of national hero and important figure in Latin American literature, José Martí, looks out serenely over the lively city center. Our Havana vacation builder makes visiting Central Park and other Havana attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • Beautiful park. While the streets were under construction while I was there, it was still a pleasant place to be. People go there to use internet. I found the internet there to be quite slow compared to the internet at Parque Fe Del Valle. Also there was no one selling internet cards here and the girls were sold out. At the Parque Fe Del Valle, you can buy internet cards for $3 cuc from others at the park..It's technically illegal so you just have to ask anyone you see using a phone who sold them their card. By that time someone will probably have asked if you want to buy one. You won't get on trouble for buying cards. Even the police told me to go there and ask.
