  • Walking through the Morro not only provides a view of the fort in 1500's but a great view of Havana. A lot of kiosks to buy artesanias, drinks and a lot of music.  more »
  • By bus through the undersea tunnel, visited. Rocks stand out from the Sea also thanked the "Morro", said landmark voyage. Since it was founded in 1589, long time or has been responsible for defense of the Havana Bay. It is tied by chains and on the other side of Punta fortress, prevented the invasion of foreign enemies. When I visited just stacking "26 Cuba international fair" during, and filled with lots of young people visit inside the fortress and lighthouse, Fort, around. It is a fortress with well preserved, reminiscent atmosphere of bygone days.

  • On the other side of the Bay, you need this ballad with a taxi and negotiate prices. I recommended strongly that visit: Havana lighthouse and beautiful building that gives way to a view of the entrance to the Bay of Havana. The construction date of the end of the XVI century, built to protect the city from the British. The entrance is at the price of 6 CUC. However there is not much to do around (few restaurants, no activities if the ceremony of gun at 8 pm).

  • A beautiful castle located at the mouth of Havana Bay. The entrance fee is steep, but the reward is an amazing view of the city.
  • Great example of Spanish architecture that has endure for over four centuries if you're visiting Habana, then by all means visit this place is beautiful ocean view and you will feel like if you where in another time.
  • Due to its strategic location, Havana was always attacked by pirates and other countries since it was founded in 16C. Thus, several forts were built at the mouth of Havana Bay in order to protect the city from invasion. The most impressive one must be Castillo de Morro which mightily stood on the cliff overlooking the sea at the tip of Casablanca neighbourhood. The best is to enjoy a panoramic view over the whole Havana and the sea.
  • Incredible old fortification from the 1500's. Each evening they do a cannon ceremony in the same way it's always been done. Pomp and circumstance. A wonderful look back at history. The interiors of the castle have vendors set up to sell all manner of locally made items.
  • Rather nice place. It cost us 2 CUC per person to go to the area, and it was fun to explore around.
