  • In light of his lamp, for centuries, has guided people by sea, trying to reach Cuba by sea, always city wonder. Fortress built by Spanish colonists as part of protection to the port and the city, played an important role in the defense of the same, beautiful fortress, designed by the Italian military ing J.A. Antonelli, has unique views of the city and the entrance of the Bay of Havana from the walls of its fortress, which I recommend you portray so as from the height of its lighthouse, a place with its secrets and legends, do not miss it, thank

  • It was erected as a military fortress to protect the city from pirates or invaders, is located at the entrance of the Bay, and you can visit inside for 10 cuc is a beautiful walk and you can enjoy beautiful views of the city and the sea.

  • In the so-called nose as well as the famous Cannon can be found a series of souvenirs at a great price... affordable if already anyway you got to get there, it is a complex historical and galleries displaying various mechanisms used in at the time of the Spanish colonization, the nose is a site where you can spend a pleasant time touring its galleries and corridors that you moved to an earlier time... can improve in aspects of information Since even and when you visit with time in the evening I heard not the existence of restaurants and bar inside area until I read it later...

  • Don't even bother walking here if it is close to 530p. They supposedly close at 7p but staff says 6p and the lady there at the entrance closes much earlier to avoid having to work or shoo people out. Won't let anyone use bathroom even though technically not closed. Just extremely rude. Vendors outside the walls of castle are very sweet and extremely eager to learn more about you. Enjoy the experience even if you don't go inside the castle. It isn't worth it anyways when I went back. Wasted trip and rude lady was still there just completely unhappy to be there and to see you. You're clearly just more of a headache for her. Smh.
  • Beautiful place. Admiring the water and the haunted fortress was peaceful and interesting in itself. Didn't go into the museum or gift shops.
  • Cigar shop inside is full of fake brand name cigars. I made the mistake of assuming they were real simply because it was a government building.
  • Best point to view the downtown havana and golden coast line. Old lighthouse stand over the cliff edge.
  • Really cool architecture with interesting views. When we went there were a few stands set up with gifts for tourists to buy
