(4.1/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
In Old Havana's oldest depository, a lively hub of colorful handicrafts, artisan products, and music dwells in Almacenes San Jose. Dating back to 1885, the renovated warehouse now stocks everything from leather craft and ceramics, to toys and tobacco accessories. Take your time to explore the multicolored maze, a cultural hub that also supports local artists using the space for musical performances and art activities. Haggle with the shopkeepers, who don't mind having a friendly debate about the price. Spend time hunting for a bargain and ensure what you’re purchasing is an authentic Cuban piece. Our Havana vacation builder makes visiting Almacenes San Jose and other Havana attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • It's colorful, lively, with all the memories you want to return to Cuba. Prices are fair, and must bargain a bit, nothing for the pleasure of talking. Next to it is a Hall where you can eat and drink the beer it produces. To Park, no problem, 1 or 2 cuc for the guard in a red jacket in front of the Hall.

  • It is a market in old town Southern folk art-lined. You otherwise and souvenir shops in the city than good quality products, but also which shop too much and thrilling I felt so. Or if you carefully weigh the bargains are there was no speculative folk art as far as quick, but not as sophisticated in developing countries.

  • It is the best place of all Havana to buy memorabilia and souvenirs. You can find a lot of variety of memorabilia from key rings to musical instruments. For example, you can buy two magnets by 1 CUC. There is enough bargaining at many of the stalls that if, and if it doesn't convince you the price of something go to the next post!

  • The tourist shop of Havana. Some decent stuff, but most of the booths are the same stuff with high pressure sales tactics. If you're looking for a place to buy touristy souvenirs, this is it.
  • Cuban market place
  • There are a variety of souvenirs and memorabilia items. However the prices are more expensive that normally sits in the street. The same items can be purchased on the street or in other markets at best price. I prefer the ramp artisans market.
