  • I don't swim very well and never been snorkeling in my life. Our team, and friends, to the water sports of our hotel Iberostar Daiquiri convinced me to go and that I would be safe. It has been suggested the boat "La Perla" of team Marlin (beautiful Hello Delfin Captain). Better than big catamaran as would a dozen instead of 30-40 people and more would be the first to do anything and dinner. Departure around 9:30 am. Directly to Media Luna Isla. Have walked a little, visited island with pelicans and then snorkeling. Very safe! Even my mother-in-law of 75 did! It was her first time! OK for the regulars in diving, it's really the basis... but for a first time is perfect and it makes me want to go further. Thanks Lazaro our diving guide. Nearly an hour later, we take small included drink then have dinner: lobster, chicken, shrimp, rice and vegetables included aussi.il has a small yard around us; rabbits, roosters, chickens... To 1 HR La Perla drops us at Playa Pilar until 4 a.m. where they come back us up and take back us to our hotel (pier of the Melia Cayo Guillermo) Suggestion: take only the principal because we embarked and landed in the water all the time except to the island. (see photo) Also nothing too precious because if nobody to watch, your belongings will be alone at the restaurant or diving... To worry like me, even if you have a life jacket, 90% of the time you can touch the floor with our feet (for people of 5'4 ''). On the picture you see sailboats in the distance, I think they're there to see them also that all goes well.
