  • Baracoa is the cocoa city of Cuba. Very small, simple Café. The ice and the kitchen for the price were just top. Sure, there were flying but to stop themselves Yes not for hours in the cafe. We paid just 0.75 CUC for 7 ball of chocolate ice cream and 1 cake. The ice cream was super delicious, for the price I get not a ball of ice in Germany.

  • These months of July and August (from 19 July to 9 August) my wife and I have been on vacation in this beautiful and diverse country that is Cuba. I'd like to comment on what happened in the House of the cocoa in Baracoa. Wednesday July 27th at 9 hours in the morning, we went from the Hotel the Russian to the cocoa House to test the magnificent chocolate of this area of Cuba, take two cups of chocolate and we buy 4 tablets of 50 grams of dark chocolate, payable totalled 10 CUC, it seemed to us to be very expensive We paid and we left. In the evening, we went to listen to music at the Casa de la Trova; down the street a lady came up to us and sold us two tablets of chocolate from 100gr to 0.50 CUC tablet, Yes, of the same brand (from the factory opened by Ché Guevara in 1963). Tablets that we buy in the cocoa House is sold on the street, and without bargaining, to 0.25 CUC. The next morning I decided to go talk to the person in charge of the House. Explain to the manager what had happened to us and warned you that you would know and would report by all the means at my disposal.
