  • It is located to the right while further north on the East side of the Capitol Museum. Associated with life, such as old furniture and artifacts such as pottery and fossils were displayed. Recommended for those who like history.

  • The most important museum in Zagreb. Museum of the City of , although their status is not justified due to passive personnel and a lack of programs
  • We spent an hour walking through this museum, although we could have spent the whole afternoon there, if we had purchased the Audio guide. As other visitors have said, it is well organized over three ...  read more »
  • My favourite museum in the city. Some of my photos were displayed here. I'm quite proud of that
  • My favorite museum in the city! A wonderful collection of historical artifacts, from both the city's prehistory (even before 1000's) and the extensive heritage. Really shows the growth and expansion of Zagreb and region as a whole throughout centuries.
  • Three-story-high building full of history of the city. Unfortunately it available only in Croatian.
  • It is one of the best museums in the town, but somehow hidden and away from the tourist road leading through Upper Town. It is situated at the very end of the Opatička Street ( Nuns Street). Everything you have ever heard or will hear of Zagreb can be seen here: archaeological remains from the times of the ever first folks settled here, old photos, costumes, pieces of church altars, coins, old dishes, old newspapers and much much more. The museum building itself is very impressive, once nunery and has a very beautifull court. I lost myself in thoughts and was lost in past times... so at the very end of the museum tour I couldn't find my way out, actually NO SIGNS pointing out where the exit is. So I just opened up one window in the ground floor and jumped out of the window. Luckily it wasn't locked. The girl from the reception told me I wasn't the first one....But still NO SIGN for exit yet. Even though, I would like to rate this museum as excellent.
  • Great museum of Zagreb's hisotry.
