  • Very nice Museum worth visiting. Attention, if you be francophone, you need to master English because the audioguide is either in English or Croatian.

  • Great museum, love it, very westeuropean Zagreb/Agram.
  • There is a lot to take in. Though individual items lack English descriptions, every section and room has a general description in English. Expect to spend at least an hour inside if you intend to read instead of just taking a glimpse at descriptions. The museum is always far from crowded. Unless there is a group of school kids from a local school visiting, you can expect to be strolling around pretty much alone all the time.
  • historcal very interresting, several plazed were in Deutsch, croatian, english and even braille
  • It was ok. Not well prepared for tourists, but some parts of the museum do not need to be explained. A good bad-wether stop.
  • Fascinating historical introduction to this underappreciated gem of an old European city

Where to stay in Zagreb

Lodging in Croatia's capital Zagreb maintains a high standard, with many centrally located hotels offering significant weekend discounts on their finest rooms. Hostels remain the most affordable option for budget-minded travelers visiting for a day or two, providing small but neat rooms only steps away from the city's most popular bars, clubs, and restaurants. For something a bit quieter, look for self-catering apartments and guesthouses in the city's residential neighborhoods, where you can park for free and get a good night's sleep.
