  • Is the image of woman as I saw when I was walking around town in Zagreb. Is the image of the dignified atmosphere. Was standing or walking along the tucalceva Street on the North, said the small square on the left side of the Park.

  • Looks like a grandmother of the nineteenth century with a hairdo and an outfit from another time Mrs. depicted in this statue immediatememte not visible in street Tkalčićeva street of bars and walk more agitated by Zagreb. Marija Jurić Zagorka actually died in 1957 and was the first female journalist fighting for women's rights. Also author of novels, his writing wove the love with themes of national history, his best known work is a cycle dedicated to the persecution of witches in Zagreb, "the Witch of Grič". The statue that commemorates is the work of Stjepan Gračan.
