  • Saw an interesting exhibition on animal painting, but the 2nd floor with its naive art collection totally blew my mind. Very careful planning and truly satisfying visit.  more »
  • We were so happy to find this colorful museum on a COLD day in Zagreb. The collection is really fantastic and fun. We tried the other museums, but this one was really our favorite thing we did on our ...  more »
  • Nothing to complain about the great capacity of the Croatian capital to catalyze and promote art, museums and galleries are more than one, and if you happen to Zagreb at different times of the year like myself, rest assured that an exhibition worthy find, however this rather wide space in front of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and arts, in a central location in green in the city could improve. The temporary exhibits you know may be more or less palatable, depends on the taste and the preparation of the spectator, so far what I've seen (contemporary Croatian artists living in part ...) I was satisfied and enriched. A note on the permanent collection, rather wide in more salt, but must endeavour to maintain a chronological order may be better prepared and explained by more comprehensive captions, sometimes there is not even the consideration in English, and this is an understatement. VA while said that among the permanent collections include the Bukovac, Kraljević and Vidović, restless members of one painting, that of Croatia, which is not well known, but it deserves to be deepened.
