Dolac Market, Zagreb

Categories: Farmers Markets, Food & Drink, Shopping
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web
Situated right near the main cathedral, Dolac Market lets tourists experience a slice of local Croatian life. Fresh flowers, regional olive oil, dairy products, and fresh burek are just a few of the items sold here. While these markets are common in Croatian cities, Zagreb's is one of the largest and very popular with the locals. You, too, can do most of your food shopping here: the selection is good, the stall-keepers give lots of information about what they're offering, and in many cases, it's cheaper than the grocery store around the corner. • Unlike other food markets in European capitals this one has not become affected by tourist but remains the food & flower markets for tone locals Great atmosphere & make sire you linger to absorb it
  • great place to visit if you want to buy fresh fruit or vegetables, but also good souvenirs, always full with people, open to 15.00 only
  • A market like so many. Many stalls stuffed with food, lively and full of people. The only thing really special are the Red umbrellas covering the square.

  • Classic downtown gem. Fresh food, fresh flowers, best offer. Unbeatable prices. If you love food, this is the place to be.
  • This farmers' market really livens up the Zagreb city centre with its busy, colorful stalls packed full of fruit, vegetable, nuts, cheese and all sorts of stuff. Oh yeah, fish too! Be sure to check out winter hours because they are not the same as in the summer season.
  • Zagreb’s colourful fruit and vegetable market is just north of Ban Jelacic Square. Traders from all over Croatia come to sell their products at this buzzing centre of activity.
  • The only place to visit to get a real slice of Zagreb. A busy, noisy, colourful market full of every type of fresh food you can imagine. A must see on any visit to Zagreb.
  • Largest market in Zagreb and being near main square it is best place to get fresh fruit and vegetables. Check out stands I the back of the market (northern part) as the sellers there are selling products that they grew by themselves, front part (except maybe people selling dairy products) are usually mediators reselling stuff.
