  • Not so far from Dubrovnik, it is a sancuary for peace and quiet. This is a garden with a lot of various trees and plants and it is so lovely to see it outside of the crowded Dubrovnik. Look to the see...  more »
  • A historic garden that has kept species of impressive size. The whole is full of charm & nostalgia even if some spaces could be better maintained. It is no less a sense of happiness & well being with splendid views of the coast. Fans of the series "Game of thrones" will be met because many scenes were shot. The plane trees in the arboretum which are over 500 years old worth to them only. You can also plan a Jersey because the end of the walk will allow you to take a dip! Nice charming not to be missed, especially since there is no equivalent in Croatia, or even elsewhere in Europe.

  • Who is like me, a lover of gardens will feel at home there. We were in November there, and the garden was locked. My wife wanted into it yet, and so we went into it without having to pay admission and without noticing the signs. All the local community worker greeted us politely and we were not the only visitors, several Croats were there. The entrance signs were installed due to Schlägerungs - and renovation works. In the southern part of the garden, we were specially invited by a worker. Clear recommendation.
