You can spot remnants of this distant past everywhere, not only in the vineyards and olive fields, but also in the rustic stone walls that once divided plots of arable land. • We walked from Stari Grad to Vrboska through the plain, about an hour and a half each way and definitely worth it. Pure Mediterranean vibes with olive trees, grape vines, pomegranate and fennel...

  • If you want an amazing wine and olive tasting experience, look no further. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time, as they may be booked up in advance. (I’m writing this review on the plain’s listing since their winery doesn’t have one yet).
  • Fun time tasting their good wines with explanations on the process and varietals used. Also taken through the olive oil and lavender production processes.
  • Heavenly & fruitful ancient place. Should be all organic here. People here do not understand special value of the island Hvar. Rare exemptions started to arrise recently. Thanks God.
  • This is UNESCO World heritage protected site as one of the rare examples of intact agricultural landscape made by Greek colonists when they took this beautiful bay from local population. I would like more investment but even like this is it perfect place for bike or walking tour. You can reach it from Stari Grad and it stretches almost to neighboring beautiful small towns of Jelsa and Vrboska. In spring you can find nice asparagus here. And try to avoid high summer as it can be really hot here if you are not near sea. Fifth star is missing as it should be maintained much better but this is place to see when visiting amazing island of Hvar.
  • Nice beach
