  • My wife and I bought a combo ticket which included Temple of Jupiter. It was kind of underwhelming and proved to be a fast thing to do. If you had to pay for this alone it would have been worse.
  • Takes ages to find and will take you about a minute to visit. May as well do it if you have bought the ticket covering the palace/cathedral/bell tower.
  • Pagan temple, later converted into a Christian. Perfectly preserved, decorated with exquisite stone carving. Here the baptistery (krestil′nâ).

  • Excellent vaulted ceiling inside although quite sparse. Outside there's one of the 3500yr old granite sphinxes which used to decorate the entire palace. It later became St John's church.
  • More beautiful from the outside than from within.
