  • Great entertainment value when approaching Japanese tour groups from both sides. Japanese are known extremely polite and let the other go first. So then absolutely nothing more ;-) goes neither forward nor back. Otherwise similar to tightly between my garage and garden shed, which is stupid, but not notable. Strangely, that runs the street of here sls attraction.

  • This is the narrowest alley in the old part of the city of split. It is located between the two buildings built in a totally different time. On one side is the Baptistry of St. John the Baptist (former Temple of the God Jupiter) built in 4. century, while on the other side of the apartment building from the middle ages with Gothic Windows, from 15. the century. The passage is created by the lack of space, because they are the new tenants of the former Palace used every inch of free space to life. However this is not the narrowest alley in the city of split is already one passage in the hood Radunica.

Where to stay in Split

Split and its surrounding area boast an extensive system of private accommodations for rent, which range from simply furnished rooms to elegantly outfitted multi-room apartments. Many locals approach travelers at the main bus station with offers of available lodgings, but before you agree to anything, make sure you know the room's exact location in reference to the town center. For something more luxurious, check out the city's four- and five-star hotels, or consider an elegant villa a walk away from the major sights.
