    Lovely place and they let you test the true virgin olive oil. The brief on how olive oils were made a hundred years ago was informative. You can get some bread and jams for tasting too. Loved the virgin olive oils so much that we bought 3 bottles. Just call ahead so you don’t run into massive tour groups (that’s what we did).

    We got guided by Ivan, a very friendly and passionate employee. The museum costs 30kn pp and includes free tasting of their own made olive oil and marmalades. Certainly worth a visit!

    We were going back to our hotel when we decided to visit the Museum of Oil. What a idea! The building is amazing, you can feel the history on the air. Dora, the staff that told us the history of the place, was so friendly and helpful. And what to say about the food and wine? It was everything delicious, the sheep cheese, olive pate, jam and the home made bread. Definitely it is a place you must to know.
