Create an itinerary including Krka National Park
Packed with waterfalls, riverside trails, and vegetation, Krka National Park represents one of the Croatia's foremost protected areas. Explore the national park's network of trails that crisscrosses its rugged terrain, then go for a dip in the pools surrounding the many waterfalls--the tallest of which rises to 27 m (89 ft) and cascades down multiple levels to the pool below. The park covers nearly the entire length of the river, giving you a view of the water almost wherever you go and allowing you to spot some of the many fish, birds, and reptiles that call the area home. Be sure to stop by the series of Orthodox monasteries, some from the 15th century, that dot the riverbank and islets within the park. • They called it National park. But you need just 90 minutes n to see everything . Nice river, small waterfalls and this is it. If you stay more then a hour drive from Krka- do not spend time on it
  • Nice visuals of a moderate size fall. If you have seen other falls taller than 100 feet, nothing much to see here. Visuals are also from the side as the front in view is obscured by trees. The place is about 20 minute boat ride from the ticket office - and this boat ride is not that interesting.
  • Closed at 8 pm very early in hot weather. If you don't mind walking, 2 hours, go after closing time when its not dark yet. Its nice to be there alone and enjoy the evening sun.
  • Very easy to navigate their ticket system. Friendly concierge points you in the right direction. Went to buy tickets the night before but they won't let you buy in advance. Tickets are expensive in season, but worth it
  • Despite the fact that the staff is really nice and friendly, they aren't organized well. The receptionist gave us an uncomplete information about the boat departure, so we had to wait for more than 2 hours 'cause the boat was full.
