  • We wanted to try scuba diving and booked Orca diving centres discover scuba diving package. It was definitely worth it. Booking worked nicely through trip advisor. Staff was friendly and professional and spoke English well. They told us what we needed to know about the gear and safety and the we got to try diving. The instructor made us feel secure, safe and relaxed. We took two dives and I definitely recommend that for everyone. On the second dive we could really concentrate on all the cool stuff you could see on the sea floor.
  • We booked kayaks a couple times on our holiday, the friendly host was multilingual and provided a swift service at a very good cost. The routes and caves/cove destinations outlined gave a nice couple hours adventure. Definitely sparked an interest in kayaking through this experience!
  • Had an amazing experience at Orca diving centre. The owner, Marin (aka: Acqaman) was a very experienced diver and was very helpful making me feel comfortable during my first dive. Highly recommended.
  • Did 8 dives with them. Facility and boat are good, I had my own equipment so I can't comment on that. Some sites were quite good considering it's the murky Adriatic sea... Be warned that they only do wrecks if enough qualified people sign up. The main complaint I have is that the dive tours cover a lot of distance. So most of the time we had to keep moving to finish the tour before the beginners used up their air. No time to stop and appreciate the tiny nudibranchs or to really look for camouflaged critters, like seahorses, cuttlefish etc. Spotted them only by accident and with a keen eye, while the rest of the group was swimming away. EDIT: I cannot reply to the owner, so I'll put this here. To be clear, I'm not complaining because they take beginners or because they prioritize the safety and needs of the least experienced. It is obviously the responsible thing to do and it would be unfair to mark them down for that. I have nothing against diving with beginners. My point is that the tours covered a lot of distance, and yes the guides waited for us. But being new to the sites, a guide waiting politely at a distance meant to us that maybe they were trying to takes us to see something interesting farther away. That was true for some sites, but not all. I think the other divers, especially beginners, would have enjoyed to see too some of the reasons that caused me to stay behind. The guides seemed to ignore these critters or just to genuinely miss them, so they should be making better use of the other pairs of eyes in the group. Eventually they got used to us being slow and independent and that made our dives more enjoyable, ending with the highlight of a fully independent (for us two) dive on the wreck, where the only regret was running out of no-deco time too soon :) So, what I mean is this: if you are the kind of diver that likes to take their time searching for little things, looking at things for a long time, or taking photos, make sure to let the guide know in advance and discuss the dive plan with them so you both know what to expect, especially if you don't have the luxury of planning to do many dives during your stay. And if you are the kind of diver that expects the guide to find everything for you, start using your own eyes ;)
  • Went snorkeling with Ocra Diving centre. Very professional staff and clean equipment. Marin was also very kind and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommended.
