  • The title serves the poor unwary who, like me, were captivated by the charm of the lakes and they went into the worst month of the year. We begin. To take a ticket the queue was an hour. The ticket price, 250 Kunas, 33 euros, high season serves as a deterrent to avoid a full House but completely worth it. Once you enter the falls are spectacular but in Abruzzo, in Trentino, Veneto and at least 18 other regions of Italy have similar shows for free or at the most reasonable prices. Inside the rush is unlikely with thousands of people crammed into narrow paths and wooden walkways. We took the route K, 18 km, which advise against a people just work out not so much for the length but due to the complexity of some sections "less" that are abandoned to decay and you'll have to jump on trunks through the mud. Experience that deserves anyway but go in the fall or spring. Summer rejected in full.

  • The only downer is you can't swim here. Gorgeous place. Fairly shaded, bathrooms here and there, picnic area where you can buy food/drink if needed. Awesome cave, definitely go in. We got there just before 7:45am. Parked at entrance 2, bought tickets and made the long trek to the entrance. No lines to speak of at this point. Did route H and took shuttle to northwest point. Brought breakfast and ate a quick bite before starting (group of 7 adults). Started hiking at 9:15. Took lots of pics along the way, stopped for coffee at picnic area half way through, saw the cave and waterfall, got back to car around 3pm. Definitely started getting crowded half way through. Worth the trip. I'd park at entrance 1 if possible next time.
  • Would love it more if I was able to visit here during the quieter period, but the tour I was with made the most of our time there. Plenty of options for shorter or longer routes and manageable paths if it's dry. The scenery and the colours of the waters are gorgeous and clear with plenty of fish. Has big lakes and also some waterfalls. Had a relaxing boat ride. Would try another transport when it's less busy.
  • This is unique national park you should visit in all seasons with exception of high summer due to high temperature and too many visitors. I prefer spring and autumn for the colors. Winter is also interesting for the snow I will present in pictures. There are many trails around lakes and dense forest. You can stay in hotels or apartments as you need more then one day to properly explore this gem of national park. And you need to visit all national parks in Croatia as every one is special and true beauty.
  • Well worth the visit. Gets quite busy, parking can be difficult and end up on the road. Lakes though are spectacular, amazing colour. It is easy more than one days visit if you want to do plenty of walking this is the best way as queues for boats and bus can be long.
  • Stunning 🤩🤩🤩 Well worth a visit if the weather is sunny so you can appreciate the colors. Absolutely Not good the queue for the ferry! Waited an hour and a half, standing, with 38 degrees, people passing ahead to skip the queue telling they had friends or family after.... All the rest was beautiful, the ferry (once we got on!) and the train were spacious and comfortable A must to do in Croatia! 🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷
