  • We visited the lakes on a day trip from Zadar, where we departed at 8:30, arrived at 10:30 and then bought our tickets (use your student card if you have it) we took route C which is supposed to be th...  more »
  • It's a beautiful place, but where lack of support during the visit. Requires long walks (several kilometres) and not at the end there is water for sale, or even open toilets, while they are there. Is completely incomprehensible! After we walked over 6 km, at the end of the visit and as we waited for the bus that would take us back, we headed to a bar that exists on the site, but where there was no for sale any kind of drink, just ice cream. We questioned the employee who told us to go get a drink of water to the Lake that appears to be the place where visitors also "relieve", once the restrooms were closed!!

  • This nature park is beautiful, but unfortunately a Scrum on the highlights include a great waterfall is already in may or the 'Winnetou' cave. Therefore, there is also a point deduction.

  • Remarkable natural beauty crystal clear water fishes water falls vibrant colours and walk ways that don't detract from the experience but allow access close to the water. First visit for me was breathtaking. Somewhere I would definitely want to visit once if you get the chance. Don't bring a pushchair wooden paths and stairs are not smooth baby carrier more suitable. Walks are long you could easily spend a day there or more. One boat ride included in price of ticket and shuttle bus back to the entrance. Staff very helpful.
  • One of the most amazing places I've been! Besides the obvious (that it is freaking amazing), things you need to know: there are just 2 real areas where you can find food ST1 and ST2, in ST3 you can just get ice cream. In the 3 stations you'll find bathrooms but plan what you gonna do because these are the only bathrooms in the park, besides the ones at the entrances! You can go for over a mile without having any bathroom near! When you climb up to ST3 you can get back to the entrance by bus, or walk through the H/K path. In ST3 is an information office where they'll gladly assist you with directions. Carry enough water, you're going to need it! You can fill your bottle in the bathroom with tap water, it's perfectly fine. Finally, the ferry! I went during summer so it was kinda busy, ferry was super fast, you'd only have to wait for a few minutes. The ride from Port 3 to Port 2 is in a boat that can fit 100 passengers, so don't worry, the most you'll wait is like 20 minutes. Last but not least! If you find the cave path, take the stairs at your right, the view from the lake is really cool, then you can climb to the top, but you'll have to come back down if you don't want to lose most of the lakes. Also remember, there's more to see than just the lakes. Hope you enjoy!
  • If you do one thing in Croatia, it has to be this! Park is simply stunning. At the entrance you'll probably see a lot of tourists but don't get scared, the park is so big that the almost disappear :) That is, if you go on your own and not in a bus group of course. We did a C tour which I'd say is the best. 8km of walking, a short boat ride and a train ride on the way back so you can also see the lakes from above which is perfect. And it took us only 4 hrs easily with breaks. Bring running shoes (no heels for women), water, snacks and some money to maybe buy something. There will be one spot where you can buy something and that's where the boat departs. Other than that, you have nothing, pure nature and few benches here and there. Also bring a bag to put your trash in because there is no bins almost anywhere (except boat and train station). Charge your batteries, empty your memory cards and let's go! :)
  • Went last Dec in winter. It looks totally different covered in snow and frost, and the whole place felt like something straight out of a fairy tale. A truly beautiful reserve. Hire a guide for the best experience!
  • Amazing experience for our family. Taking the second track for 5km, great clear water, turquoise and crisp, powerful waterfalls every 5 minutes. Try getting there early as you can if you like taking pictures as it's getting crowded where the waterfalls located. Don't come with babies stroller, tracks are rugged.
