Categories: Outdoor Activities
Badija is the largest island in archipelago Škoji, near Korčula island in Croatia. The island is currently unpopulated. Franciscans from Bosnia came into possession of the island in 1398. They held it until 1949, when it was expropriated by the communist authorities.SourcesSamostan Uznesenja B. D. However, we enjoyed it very much because we love hiking and toured it around whole (approximately 7 kms. approx.) along a path that is quite plain with trees and vegetation and much of the same shade or Sun and shadow. As for idyllic for swimming, not so much, because you just have a few small pieces of stone Beach, that if the crystal clear waters. The best area for bathing is the part that looks to the city of Orebic on the continent, is directly opposite. It can be reached in less than half an hour by boat jeepney and is very cheap. The island only has a very beautiful monastery, which is closed to the public and a restaurant / bar.show original

Take your drink and take your food come with motor boat, Captain with the return at the time of the deal. I think the latest turn 17. About a 15-minute walk to the right from the place across the street you will see a small Green Island, then snorkel. An excellent experience. Relax in the shade of a pine ☺ ️show original
