  • Very nice, pleasant, when in September of even non-listen to head of an island. Korculadan go to take food and drink with the engine. Enjoy the sea all day snorkeling.

  • A lovely place in early September - we had the place pretty much to ourselves. Be aware that in September, the beach bar is closed (we learned this to our cost!) and there is nowhere to buy lunch as a...  more »
  • Let go to Lumbarda for visiting this island and not be if it was a good decision. However, we enjoyed it very much because we love hiking and toured it around whole (approximately 7 kms. approx.) along a path that is quite plain with trees and vegetation and much of the same shade or Sun and shadow. As for idyllic for swimming, not so much, because you just have a few small pieces of stone Beach, that if the crystal clear waters. The best area for bathing is the part that looks to the city of Orebic on the continent, is directly opposite. It can be reached in less than half an hour by boat jeepney and is very cheap. The island only has a very beautiful monastery, which is closed to the public and a restaurant / bar.

  • Great location! Quiet but the bar prices are high
  • Beatifull old monastery
  • Way too many stinging insects (wasps etc). Quite nice scenery but hard to appreciate with the insects.
  • Worth a visit, walk around the island to get to nicer beaches than the main beach at the dock.
  • Calm, relaxing not crowded at all. Beautiful view over Orebic.
