Climb the stairs of the medieval city walls to the fortress. Perched on a hill, it offers a panoramic view of Old Town and Pakleni Islands. Built at the beginning of the 16th century, the fortress was restored after the explosion of the powder chamber in 1579. The French added some reinforcements during their rule. Subida bastante puxada, leva cerca de 20 Minutos de caminhada com muitas escadas, mas ao chegar a vista é lindíssima das ilhas e de Hvar. Recomendo tomar um expresso delicioso na cafeteria!Climb enough pulled, takes about 20 Minutes to walk with many stairs, but when you get the view is beautiful the Islands and Hvar. I recommend taking a delicious espresso at the coffee shop!show original

Great pictures can be taken of the old town and the Marina. There are several places on the Fort where you easily can have a picknic brought along. 30kr per person for entrance. Nice is also the coffee shop at the top of the Fort where I can recommend both ice cream and iced coffee. I recommend the trip up here. In my opinion, is not much in 30kr entre and I've never seen such a well maintained fort. It's like the coating on the market square.show original
