  • Got with the Dubrovnik card. It's got some nice things, but it's quite small and could do with more explanations on all of the actual objects (on one floor at least there was a sign I found only at the end with a names of everything, but the objects only had numbers beside them).
  • Nowhere does it say no photos. They will chastise you for taking just 1 photo with no flash of reproductions, and make you feel like a criminal! The rude girl on the second floor yelled up to the girl on the third floor, laughing and telling her to watch you like a hawk in Croatian. The girl on the third floor then follows you around right behind you, basically walking on your heels, watching your every move like you just shoplifted and are a criminal. She was seated prior to us entering. The first floor of this museum is artifacts from a shipwreck, which are a little interesting. Don't even waste your time upstairs.
  • This is a really interesting museum about the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia. My favorite section was the floor that covered the old agricultural tools. The traditional Croatian outfits were also fun to see.
  • Interesting Museum located in the former granary of the city. He located a bit set height of town but compensates by offering a nice point of view about the city. It tells the story of Dubrovnik and its inhabitants

  • The Ethnographic Museum of Dubrovnik Museums (Ethnographic Museum) is located in the large building of the Dubrovnik Republic's granary, known as Hole/The Holes, which derives from the name for the underground grain storage areas carved out of bedrock. It was built in 1590, as a four-storey structure with fifteen.6in storage pits in the ground floor and spaces for drying on the upper floors. In the earthquake disaster of 1667, the building was damaged, the subsequent reconstruction turned it into the three-storey building that it is today. The traditional rural economy and architecture of the Dubrovnik region is found on the First Floor, while collections of traditional attire from the Dubrovnik littoral, the Elaphite islands, Dubrovnik, Mljet, Lastovo, Peljesac, Korcula, Dubrovnik, Rijeka and Dubrovnik can be seen on the Second Floor.
