Dubrovnik Cable Car, Dubrovnik
(4.2/5 based on 7,000+ reviews on the web)
Ride Dubrovnik Cable Car from Old Town to the top of Mount Srd. Along the way, the landscape transitions from the city's medieval walls and terra-cotta tile rooftops to the harbor, Adriatic coastline, and its many islands. Enjoy a panoramic view 405 m (1,329 ft) above sea level on one of two terraces. On a clear day, you can see as far as 60 km (37 mi), which made this a strategic location for the neighboring imperial fortress built here in the 19th century. Relax in the cafe, or enjoy a meal at the restaurant overlooking the city. Stop by the gift shop to pick up a souvenir from your scenic ride. • Dubronik is a beautiful city right to be considered world heritage. Surrounded by a wall to them served as defense in the past and is currently a paseo turistico full of shops, restaurants and a tourist amazing movement culture.. .my only take it one is filled with positive energy into small streets all uphill with fairytale cottages. The Franciscan church is 14th century.. .this Cathedral and the Dominican monastery. Also need to know the Tower of minceta which is the more large wall.. .enjoy for this place is very beautiful an incredible experience. Enjoy so much culture in the midst of so many people of all ages.. .tambien may know the first pharmacy where still sell popular cream roses recognized in return... well youth so they say... don't get to try it. And if you want to enjoy a few noodles in seafood sauce the most exquisite that I tried this restaurant Dubraska on the side of the entrance to the wall.. .it is formidable with a glass of wine for accompaniment. Also will see shows within the wall is a dream and if you want to stroll through the islands you can rent a boat and going to go great. Preferably at the end of the wall you will find restaurants that offer shows as one dinner and an ice cream parlour with delicious flavors there may hire is cheap safe... who out of the wall that is more expensive and offer the same. The sea is super calm and transparent is delicious and relaxing and good not be filled with sand because it is 95% rock... Don't miss this wonderful city where at any age they seem fantastic.

  • The cable car from Dubrovnik up Mount Srd is well worth the trip. The views of the Old Town and out over the beautiful Adriatic are wonderful. The restaurant at the top is very good.
  • Beautiful view and outstanding location. We had fun! Book the restaurant in advance it is definately worth it! Food, service and prices were great!

  • Awesome place! Upper station provides outstanding view to the old town, restaurant where you can seat right on the cliff edge (means noone obstructs your view). Place is infant friendly, you can bring your little one in stroller or in baby carrier. Staff will help with any step (you will skip line to the car, someone will show where is elevator and they make you comfortable at restaurant). I wish they give an access to ruins of Napoleonic fort or provide view to the town without obstruction of cable car mast. (I'm not sure it probably can be done from parking lot, yes you can also drive up there)
  • Wonderful. Don't miss. Best time is sunset. Book a table at panorama restaurant in advance. For 6 to 8 . Depending on sunset time. That is one and only restaurant
  • Good for people who has money to burn but short on time. 120 Kr for round trip cable car. The food option is very limited on the hill side. If you are dead set on going there but on baker, make sure to bring your student ID along with food and drinks with you. There are new and clean amphitheater you maybe able to have some casual lunch/ early dinner. You could get a gist of this place in less than 30min. If you have half a day and like to go to a rocky beach or hike and get a nice view of old city, go to the island across. The RT for that is 100kr
  • The views from the top of the mountain are incredible. I also enjoyed the visit to the War Museum at the fortress by the cable car station, I was able to learn more about the 90s conflict through very touching photos and artifacts from the war
  • The cable car is quite fast and for 120 kunas you get a great view of the old city of Dubrovnik. There is a cafe / restaurant at the hill with a great view and very good food, it's a perfect place for lunch or dinner.
