#5 of 6 in Beaches in Dubrovnik
Beach Beach / Pool Club
Soak in the picturesque surroundings at Beach Kupari, a typical Croatian beach with clear water, a mix of pebbles and sand along its shore, and plenty of nearby history. The village of Kupari is located about 6 km (4 mi) from Dubrovnik, making its main beach an easy destination for a day trip or longer stay at one of the village's early 20th-century hotels. This popular tourist attraction is perfect for relaxing on the sand, swimming, and beach volleyball. Featuring a small bar, the beach also offers easy access to a walking path that stretches through the Zupa region, from Kupari to Mlini. Where to stay in Dubrovnik

One of Croatia's major tourist destinations, Dubrovnik remains one of the most expensive cities in the country, especially if you wish to stay in the old town at peak season. You can choose from upscale hotel rooms just east of the old town, but for budget-friendly beds you may have to go as far as the outskirts of town. Many locals rent small rooms in their private homes, so look for rental signs in windows or check with the city's tourist office.
