  • Brijun is an island that tells so many stories: dinosaur footprints at the zoo of Tito, through Roman remains and microbiological experiments of Koch. On the island you can choose the guided tour on the electric train, which takes you through the natural wonders of the island: the zoo animals donated to Josip Broz from foreign leaders also has an elephant as well as several zebras, ostriches and antelopes. Of particular beauty Venus Bay (near the presidential residence) and an olive tree of more than 2000 years old. Alternatively you can hire a caddy for spin yourself around the island. In this way you can reach the coastal place where are imprinted in the rock tens of fossil footprints of carnivorous dinosaurs. In General, an island that is well worth a visit.

  • The tour was very interesting. However, as often in Croatia concerning this kind of place, the maintenance is to review (an old pool abandoned full of algae, the zoo leave hungry and is very badly maintained...). However, it is still very interesting to see what can give the megalo of one man.

  • Great tour! The tour led us across the island and made us discover countless surprises and curiosities. "L'isola di Tito" showed various animal species, many also in care by the staff of the place, many botanical varieties, a lot of history and a very suggestive environments. Really a lot of calm and relaxation. You can also take the train (highly recommended). To visit in summer because it deserves.

  • What can I say that you already have been reading all the post. This is natural beauty Everywhere You See. Is a beautiful boat right from Paola through all the islands do you get to the Beautiful beach in one of the big island that is shaped like a fish. I highly recommend this beautiful National Park
  • The old Isle, formerly owned by Tito, is a very nice place. You are going to see a beautiful piece of nature. I was there 3 times and saw: Peacocks, deers, a wide variety of birds, zebras and elephants. Renting a golf cart is recommended because you won't see a lot by walking. Otherwise you might use one of the guided tours which is using a wheeled train. or you may use a bicycle to get around. During summertime it is quite hot and not a lot of shadowed places. This is why you should drink a lot. The restaurants at the entrance, especially the one by the hotel, is recommended.
  • Well worth a trip, absolutely stunning. The guided tour gives you some fascinating facts about the history of not just the islands but Croatia as well. Beautiful scenery as well.
  • A very worth while visit. You can book the official ferry online and avoid all the people on the shore offering boat rides at higher prices. Once you're there you can get a guided tour that includes about 45 minutes of walking (flat ground) and about an hour on a scenic drive. All whole getting everything described to you. We then took our time wandering around to see all the beauty this island had to offer.
  • Anyone who visits Pula, or Croatia, must go here. It's 40 minute boat trip and the place is absolute a marvle of nations, plus the historical value and the zoo.
