Cave Bisevo, Bisevo

(4.2/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
Hop in a boat and head to one of the Adriatic's most valued treasures, Cave Bisevo. This cave emits a natural glowing blue light at certain times of the day. Initially the site could only be accessed by diving under rocks and swimming directly into the grotto but today small boats have their own entrance, and you can visit the cave with an organized tour. Observe the underwater sea rocks and fish as they obtain a silver glow. Snap some photos of the phenomenon without a flash to get the best effect. You can also jump in and refresh yourself before heading back. • Worth the visit but not high season. Ticket for the ship a little pricey but still worth a visit.

  • Despite mentioned in other reviews, my view is that it is an absolutely magical place, especially in the hours of the day in which light is filtered to creating the intense blue by refraction. It is very well organized, you can give the feeling of borreguismo tourism by waits and crowds to gain access, but it is, perhaps, the only way of controlling access; However, the ideal would be to enjoy of this environment of way free. (The visit was in June 2015).

  • It makes sense to go there in the morning, because the sun shines through beautifully. In the afternoon already shines from the other side, and the colors are not so beautifully saturated. The 2016 season, we would not let on your own boat, but all organized the Croats (collection of yachts, tour of the cave and garage during back to the ship). Of course you also charge admission around 30kun/person. A year ago, a friend in the autumn even had to pay for admission, and they went inside on your boat's. You may not go there on the engine, so the paddle with you and I'm sure they ... It's worth it. However, it is so on 10 min inside so a commercial trip would definitely, on a yacht is a beautiful stop ...
