Cave Bisevo, Bisevo

Hop in a boat and head to one of the Adriatic's most valued treasures, Cave Bisevo. This cave emits a natural glowing blue light at certain times of the day. Initially the site could only be accessed by diving under rocks and swimming directly into the grotto but today small boats have their own entrance, and you can visit the cave with an organized tour. Observe the underwater sea rocks and fish as they obtain a silver glow. Snap some photos of the phenomenon without a flash to get the best effect. You can also jump in and refresh yourself before heading back. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Bisevo holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Cave Bisevo and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • I did a tour from Split with the Blue Cave being the main attraction. It was expensive and whilst I enjoyed the day, the Blue Cave itself was a bit disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the cave itself i...  more »
  • It is around 11 p.m. from split by boat arrived at the port of bisevo island in just over 2 hours. Again there were many tourists on the boat. On a small boat is attacked in the tour, so would recommend buy ticket us (70 Kuna) ticket number and get their number on billboards and go into the cave. Waited for about an hour until the number. Toilets are located up the Hill. There is also a café, waiting for each other. So not only the three boats to the Blue Grotto in turn. During the breathtaking blue is. It is beautiful and worth going all the way.

  • Beautiful place
  • Unrepeatable. The island with the famous Blue cave. For those who love hiking this is an island for him. And here you can get good drops these fish prepared in a variety of ways. In the crystal clear waters of the sea, you can enjoy are swimming toxic dump sites, roneci or fishing. One who repeatedly comes back to this Pearl of the Adriatic.

  • A great place. Blue Grotto aka Blue cave is impressive. It is best to be there around 10-12.30 because then the effect in the cave is the best. Should Zac contracts buoy and wait for the water taxi that only can enter the cave. Not worth it to try to go out there on your own a pontoon because all are returned. I highly recommend this place

  • A beautiful little feral island. There's the famous Blue Grotto, which is lit only from the bottom out of the water. However, only a few hours in the morning, as long as the Sun's rays at a certain angle fall. Who comes with a yacht, can moor up for the afternoon on a buoy until the tourists are gone, overnight can remain one directly on the quay, mooring fee is calculated according to length and is not very high. It is worth in any case half a day to wander the island, only a few people live here, there are beautiful views and abandoned villages.
